Each of our three preschool groups is taught by a university-trained Early Childhood Teacher and a trained and experienced assistant.


These dedicated professionals offer your child the highest level of preschool education. They also foster a nurturing environment to support each child’s individual needs and development.

Loyal and long-serving staff members provide consistency and security for the children. Many have enjoyed teaching several children from the one family. All staff are committed to ongoing professional development and to the principles of the National Quality Framework.


Director - MISS KATHRYN 

Kathryn, the Director of Christ Church Gladesville Preschool, is an experienced university-trained Early Childhood Educator. She coordinates the preschool staff and program, and is assisted by an Office Administrator. Kathryn began working at Christ Church Gladesville Preschool in 2018.


office administrator - Miss Sandy

Sandy is one of the first people you will meet when you visit the preschool. She is the person to speak to if you have any questions about fees, preschool structure or application processes. She has been an integral part of the preschool since 1991.


Tembo Educator - Miss Maddy

Maddy has been responsible for the learning and development of the Tembo children since 2014. She is always finding new ways to extend children’s interests and document their learning in a meaningful way. She is a university-trained teacher, specialising in Early Childhood Education.


toto Educator - miss Hannah

Hannah is the Early Childhood Educator of the Toto children. She completed her degree in Early Childhood Education in 2015 and started teaching at Christ Church Gladesville Preschool at the beginning of 2016. She is passionate about seeing children learn and develop. Hannah is thankful that she can play an active role in sharing the love of Jesus with children.


Twiga Educator (Part Time) - miss nicole

Nicole graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) and began working at Christ Church Gladesville Preschool in 2009. She believes that early childhood is an important period in a child’s life and strives to provide the Twiga group with exciting opportunities to learn, develop and build self-confidence. 


Twiga Educator (PART TIME) - Miss Tara

Tara joined Christ Church Gladesville Preschool in early 2016, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge from over a decade of experience in the profession. She has a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) and enjoys extending children's learning through play-based experiences. 


tembo assistant educator - Miss Karen

In 2004, Karen started working at the preschool as Support Worker (Children). The following year she became Assistant Educator. She has since gained her Certificate III in Children’s Services and is currently working with the Tembo Group. She has been privileged to work with a number of teachers, children and families during her time at the preschool.


Twiga Assistant Educator (PART TIME) - Miss Debbie

Debbie fell in love with Christ Church Gladesville Preschool when her own children attended. She began working with the preschool in 2000 and has taken on many different roles during her time here (including Assistant Educator and Support Worker - Children). She acquired her Certificate III in Children’s Services in 2011. Debbie is passionate about teaching children to express themselves and their learning through the creative arts.


twiga assistant educator (PART TIME) - Miss Sandi

Sandi began working in the field of Early Childhood Education in 1995 after having her own family. She began teaching at Christ Church Gladesville Preschool in 1997 and has since acquired a Certificate III in Children’s Services. Sandi is bilingual (she also speaks Cantonese) and works with Tara to support the learning and development of the T children. 


Toto Assistant Educator - Miss Annette

Annette has been working at the preschool since 2001. She attained her Certificate III in Children’s Services in 2011 and has seen multiple generations of families come through the preschool.


Support Worker (CHILDREN) - Miss Jan

With a background in general and midwifery nursing, Jan joined the staff in 2000 as Support Worker (Children). While working at the preschool, Jan completed her Certificate III in Children’s Services. Jan’s role allows for a lower ratio of educators to children, which means that educators can spend more time extending the learning of small groups and individuals. She collaborates with the educators in order to deliver meaningful learning experiences.


Support Worker (children) - Miss Patti

Patti has been a member of the Christ Church Gladesville Preschool team since 2009. In 2012, Patti obtained her Certificate III in Children’s Services. Patti started work at the Preschool as Support Worker (Staff), and this year moved into the Support Worker (Children) role. She enjoys helping all children to actively engage in the Preschool program.


Support Worker (Staff) - Miss Laureen

After sending her children to Christ Church Gladesville Preschool Laureen discovered her passion for educating young children. As Support Worker (Staff), Laureen is responsible for assisting across all three groups as necessary and enjoys getting to know all the preschool families. She is working towards obtaining her Certificate III in Children's Services.


Support Worker (Staff) - Miss Carolyn

Carolyn began in the role in 2004. While working, she studied at TAFE, completing her Certificate III in Children’s Services. Carolyn’s role as Support Worker (Staff) means that she has the privilege of working with many of the children and families from the Totos, Tembos and Twigas.


Early Childhood Enrichment Educator - Miss Saranne

Saranne is working towards a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood and Primary). She comes to Christ Church Gladesville Preschool with passion and enthusiasm to help enrich the lives of the children while working collaboratively with the other educators.
