We are proud of the excellent preparation we offer children as they make the transition to ‘big school’ and more formalised education.

We have strong ties with many schools in the Gladesville area and their feedback indicates that the children we educate are well prepared emotionally, mentally, physically and socially for Kindergarten.

This results from our effective implementation of the five Learning Outcomes in the Early Years Learning Framework and our commitment to developing each child’s independence.

The Transition to School Digital Statement is completed by educators in the year before school and provides information about your child’s strengths, interests and preferred ways of learning. It is shared online with you and your child’s school to help teachers prepare for Kindergarten students and support continuity of learning.

To help your child make a smooth transition to school we focus on developing skills that build confidence and self-reliance. This includes reinforcing aspects of the daily routine and inviting them to be a ‘Special Helper’ who takes responsibility for messages, reminds the group to complete tasks and leads the group in prayer after the Bible Story.
